Adobe has revealed that the newly announced iPad Pro will feature 4GB of RAM, twice as much as that found in the current top–of–the–range iPad Air 2.

The news came via a press release from the Photoshop-maker, which took to the stage at Apple’s San Francisco event on Wednesday to show off its software working on the new, 12-inch iPad.

iPad Pro is great for creative workflows with a high-res 12.9-inch touch screen display at 2732 x 2048 pixels, A9X chip, and 4GB RAM,” the release states.

Apple makes a point of not officially revealing the RAM of its iPad range, although tech fanatics often teardown the devices in the days after launch, revealing such key details.

Since the release was first put out, Adobe has removed reference to the 4GB figure, although this is likely to have been at Apple’s request.

The iPad Pro is set to go on sale in November. US pricing is due to start at $799 for a 32GB model, although UK prices have yet to be revealed.
